Consequences on our services

During the state of emergency between 16 March and 30 March 2020 inclusive, all tourist services are cancelled; transportation is suspended; tourist sites are closed. As a result, the consequences on our services are:

  • For travelers who already have a reservation, regardless of the date of the trip or service, whatever the service (Inca Trail trek, Salcantay trek, tour, entrance tickets, etc.), and who cannot carry out this service because of the coronavirus, the proposed solutions are:

    • Postponement of the service. We offer to change the date of the service free of charge, provided that you claim the same service, for a date in 2020, depending on the availability for the chosen day and service. You must inform us at least 48 hours before the date of the service initially planned, so that our agency makes the necessary arrangements with the authorities free of charge.
    • Cancellation of the service. We will deal on a case-by-case basis, depending on the service, the reservations already made and the paid amounts. Deposits may be refunded, totally or partially. But the chaotic situation, the stoppage of work and institutions and the lack of information do not allow us to have a clear and definitive answer to give. We ask for your understanding and patience.
    • There will be no compensations. For all those concerned and having a reservation with our agency, we need a copy of the document used to make the reservation (passport or ID) that you must send us as soon as possible by email info@it.inca-trail.com.pe in order to process your request.

  • For travelers wishing to book a service (Inca Trail trek, Salcantay trek, excursion, tour, entrance tickets, etc.), it is only possible to book for a service from 1st April 2020. Our pages and forms have already been updated and only a valid date is selectable.
